To Romp Around or Not?
Alright, here comes my yearly spring/summer dilemma. It's getting warm. So many fun clothing items and trends are starting. Of course, we all want to join in on the fun. But, one I have yet to try and want to every year. The one that could really be a game changer, in my opinion. The Romper.
Now, if you know me, I have a firm no romper policy. I don't know if it's the fear of not getting it off in time for a real bathroom emergency or the fact that I've always felt like a 2 year old in them, but I've never had pleasant thoughts about them. I bought one once at the beginning of summer, thinking it had endless possibilities. Four years later it went into my giveaway bag with the tags still on it.
As they became increasingly popular these past couple summers and the styles started to expand, I tried again. But, just could not commit. So many people love their effortless, fun feel. But, I was skeptical.
If we fast forward to about two weeks ago, talks about all the fun spring activities began. From graduation to formals to 21st birthdays, cute attire for the end of my last school year is a must. Cute little dresses are always an option. But, this year felt different and I feel like I'm looking for something with edge. Thats when I stumbled upon this from one of my favorite boutiques, RiffRaff.
This First Love Sweetheart Romper made me look twice! I love the pleats and the idea that it can look like a dress, but in secret. I feel like I'm tricking everyone! I have been looking for similar ones and have found them everywhere!
What's better than wearing a dress, that actually is shorts? Perfect for any fun night out bouncing from place to place!
I think I'm getting ready to hop on the Romper express! Anyone else with me?
