Snow Problem: How to Survive A Storm | alexandra louise lifestyle

So it's here. Winter. We all knew it would happen. It's like the snow was being stored up, just long enough to get our hopes up that it would not arrive and then, BOOM. Well, never fear. I am here to give you some suggestions on how to combat the winter blues and make it through those blizzardy days.

New Kitchen Creation:

Well, let's face it, you really didn't prepare. Those voices in your head telling you to stock up on frozen pizza and chips, were not enough for your to get to the store. So, you rock what you got. Try and new mix on those old bagels or make those random cookies with maybe some ice cream you find your dinner. Hey, you're locked in, who's to know?

Personal Manicurist:

Primp and prepare. It's so hard to have time for yourself during the week and let's get real, you want to be out and about on the weekends. Now, it's time to relax and rewind. File, style and dress up those nails. Make them white, to match that snow.

Book It:

Loose yourself in "Yes, Please." Grab "You Deserve a Drink." and enjoy some time away from Netflix. Yes, people, we are NOT still watching. We know making a murder is getting good, but take a second to hear some inspiring words from your favorite author.

Netflix:

Who are we kidding? Binge time USA. I mean did't the new season of New Girl just come out?

Organize:

Get to that drawer you've been dying to reorganize. Clean out your closet and maybe get rid of that Abercrombie T you really don't "need to keep." I know I love to clean my makeup brushes and go through old sweaters at a time like this. Call me crazy.

Cuddle and CoCoa:

If all else fails, grab a hot cup of cocoa, your favorite treat and a blanket. Snuggle up and watch the beauty in the weather.

Hoping you and your loved ones are staying safe and warm!

xoxo
