Spring Outerwear | alexandra louise style

Hello friends!

Sorry for the brief absence! The stomach flu hit and hit hard. I was down and out for a few days, but I have returned and ready for spring posts!

Today we are talking all outwear. The warmer months are upon us, but there is that delightful chill in the air. It's a best time to pop into stores and find a new coat or jacket to tackle spring. I added a few new ones and resorted back to my old favorite as well.

H&M Granny Chic Over Coat

I was drawn to this little number as soon as I stepped into the store. Seeing as it was over $60 dollars I really didn't want to invest in it just yet. But, the sale hit and this was over half off. So naturally it escorted me home that evening. Dress it up or throw it over a t-shirt. This coat is an amazing spring piece.

Zara Black Duster

If I'm being honest, it's not a true duster coat. I didn't want to purchase one until I would:
 a. use it
b. really incorporate it into different looks and
c. love it.
So, I found this cardinganish version from Zara that is thick enough to wear over something and keep me warm in the morning. It's black so obviously I love it, but it's also so comfortable and the right length for my shortness. And let's be honest I'm trying to be more of a New York looking gal.

Old Navy Green Vest

I am a vest fan, I'll admit it. Especially when it comes to this one. This is about a year old and I have worn it in every season. But, I love it for spring and paring it with checked shirts, light sweaters or a dress.

Until next time into the adventures of outerwear!

xoxo
